Hi there, traveler!
Welcome to Ouroboros, a space dedicated to sharing travel memories, tips, and stories of personal growth.
I was inspired to create this blog after finding an Ouroboros ring in my shopping bag which I didn’t purchase in Bucharest, Romania. Earlier that day, I woke up and decided I wanted a ring, but the options I checked online seemed too expensive. I went shopping before leaving Bucharest to visit my family. When I got back to my room and checked my bag, there was a ring. I never bought a ring.
In value, it was pretty cheap. It was an ouroboros ring, but to me it was so valuable because it seemed like a gift out of nowhere on the same day I wanted a ring. Later, trying to demystify it (because I love to give meaning to every incident), the chain of events led me to some interesting changes in my life.
The next day, while going home, a girl wearing the same ring asked me for directions. I guess this felt like even more proof to me that the ring meant something. We exchanged contacts with that girl and parted ways.
Later, my friend told me that 2025 is the year of the snake (I found the ring in December 2024). After that, I found out through my research that ouroboros means infinity and continual growth and change. This matched perfectly with what I was going through.
I created this blog because I needed such a push and named it Ouroboros.
The last piece of the puzzle was when I checked the back cover of my favorite book, while talking to my friend to show him the book. This book I got as a kid, and I probably read it as many as five times. On the back of the cover, there was an ouroboros, and it said: Do whatever you want. I think that concluded the message of the ring for me.
I took the ring to Japan in March 2025 because I liked wearing it. Unfortunately, it got lost, and I don’t even remember how it happened. I hope that for the next person who finds the ring, it brings light and inspiration into their life. Here is a more detailed story of the ring, if you would be interested: read it here.
So this is the story of this blog. I’m here to share my stories with fellow travelers and those looking to start their own journeys. Join me as I navigate the world, one story at a time.
